Cass County Electric Cooperative (CCEC) recently achieved a 99.99% reliability rating for 2012 based on a national standard rating system for electric utilities. This means that on average, CCEC members experienced only 45 minutes of outage time throughout the last year.
Scott Handy, President & CEO, commended CCEC’s employees on achieving this goal. He thanked them for their hard work that helped contribute to this outstanding reliability rating which was made possible by meticulous planning and thorough maintenance of system equipment. The use of technology also played an important role for employees in system analysis, maintenance, and alerting them to potential problems.
